Coil Turns Analyzer Model 2001 (Formerly manufactured by |
Description
The Model 2001 analyzes coils in motors, transformers and other electromagnetic
devices and determines the number of turns in an air core coil. The Coil Turns Analyzer,
engineered for speed and accuracy, can nondestructively determine the number of turns
within ± 0.1% or one turn, whichever is greater.

Model 2001 Coil Turns Analyzer
The Model 2001 is designed to save time and money. To measure turns and polarity place
the mode switch in "Turns", then place an unknown (test) coil over an energizing
rod and connect two clips leads to the test coil. Press the "Test"
button to initiate the measurement cycle. The number of turns is displayed and the
polarity is shown on the polarity indicator. To test turns and resistance limits set the
mode switch to "Limit Check" and repeat the steps above. Pass/fail
indicators for turns and resistance, the number of turns, and polarity indicators are
displayed. The Model 2001 is designed to operate from a standing stool high
position. It has a guaranteed accuracy of ± 0.1% or one turn, whichever is greater
(applies to the 7/64" diameter energizing rod). Accuracy is slightly reduced when
using the 5/64" diameter rod.
