| Description The Model 7500/900 Series Magnetizer is a high energy, capacitive discharge magnetizer capable of saturating Alnico, Ceramic and Rare Earth magnetic materials. A solid state electronic control circuit coupled with rugged, heavy duty discharge SCR's or ignitrons and fixtures, make this magnetizer a highly reliable, low maintenance unit. The electronic voltage control circuit prevents discharging the Model 7500/900 before the preset energy level has been reached, avoiding incomplete magnet saturation. An easy to read front panel meter monitors the capacitor voltage at all times. |
Applications The Model 7500/900 Series Magnetizer, when used with proper fixturing, is capable of saturating virtually all sizes and configurations of permanent magnet assemblies, including PM motors, loudspeakers, linear actuators, magnetrons, TWT magnets, torque motors, and relays. Ideally suited for magnetization of Rare Earth magnets and assemblies, and large volume Alnico magnets and assemblies requiring long high energy pulses for saturation. Magnetizing fields in excess of 100,000 oersteds can be produced in specially designed fixtures. |
