assemblies in high volume production. The 8000 Series Magnechargers are available with
output currents from 150 Amps to 6000 Amps and are easily adapted to virtually any
production line magnetizing requirement. The modern solid state electronic control circuit
working with the heavy duty ignitron (or SCR discharge switches) result in highly
reliable, low maintenance equipment. The solid state control circuitry provides precise
control over the output power. The 8000 Series Magnechargers are built in NEMA 12
enclosures.
Applications
The 8000 Series Magnecharger, with the proper fixture, is capable of saturating a wide
range of sizes and configurations of permanent magnets and assemblies, including PM
motors, tachometers, loudspeakers, and meters. There are many types of magnetizing
fixtures available for use with magnechargers, including solenoids, pulse transformers,
