Description
The Model 8500 Series Magnetizers are high power, heavy duty, industrial
magnetizers, available in energy levels from 2.4 kJ to 110 kJ. Controllers, hardware and
software options allow complete flexibility in design to meet the precise production
requirements in speed and automation. Computer interfacing required by modern production
engineers is available. This series of magnetizers is constructed in NEMA 12 cabinets and
is equipped with many safety features, including electrical door interlocks, mechanically
interlocked disconnect, grounding wand, thermal protectors, flow switch and emergency
stop. |

The selection of a magnetizing system begins with an analysis of the production
requirements, including magnet material, magnet size, magnetizing orientation, number of
poles, production speed, magnet measuring and other operations that are necessary. After
careful evaluations of these factors, and review of samples or drawings, our applications
engineers can recommend a system which will meet your requirements.
The accessories available include operating two magnetizing fixtures alternately,
monitoring of the magnetizing field, fixture temperature, and the field produced by the
saturated magnet using Magnetic Instrumentation, Inc. Gaussmeters and Fluxmeters.
Controllers or computers are also available to handle production, measurement and testing
processes, including SPC data collection.
